February 3, 4, 5, 2006: I attended Florida STARs A Romance Odyssey in Cocoa Beach. What a fantastic conference! Agents, editors and published authors were crawling all over the Cocoa Beach DoubleTree Inn. One agent and one editor requested Larkfield House. My fingers, toes and eyes are crossed.
September 14, 2005: My historical short story, "Rules of Being a Lady", is published in the slick, online newsletter, A Hint of Seduction. Unfortunately, the newsletter is not available at this time. If it returns to the web, I'll put up a link.
July 14, 2004: Larkfield House wins second place in the Ignite the Flame contest sponsored by Central Ohio Romance Writers. It was sent on to an editor who lost his chance by turning it down.

April 28, 2006: I am attending the members-only retreat of the Washington (DC) Romance Writers held in Harper's Ferry, Virginia. I am going with a very good friend and we intend to have a great time! (Last year I won a good chunk of money at the Camp Town Races in the slots!)

July, 2006: The National Conference of RWA (c), Romance Writers of America, in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't go...again! Maybe next year.
